The project is funded by Croatian Science Foundation under the call number IP-01-2018, and carried by the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Geodesy (Croatia). Interpretation of geodetic results in a context of geological and seismological data Determination of local strain field is based on an investigation of surface deformation on the major fault zones related to recent tectonic activity in the wider Rijeka and Dubrovnik area with MT-InSAR techniqueģ. Investigation of regional strain field is based on a realization of a new geokinematic model of Adriatic microplate obtained by cGPS (GNSS) network adjustment of the Croatian positioning system (CROPOS) and other neighboring GPS networks.Ģ. The project is primarily focused on gathering high-quality spatiotemporal data of recent ground and surface deformation that could be related to the ongoing local and regional strain field in the area.ġ. The project's main goal is to improve the existing knowledge of ongoing geodynamic processes in the Republic of Croatia through the utilization of modern geodetic satellite techniques Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Multi-temporal Satellite Radar Interferometry (MT-InSAR) in a multidisciplinary approach.
